Publishing your own email newsletter, also known as an ezine, will enable you to develop a huge list of targeted potential customers. As you may need to contact your potential customers several times before making a sale, ezine publishing provides the perfect way to stay in touch and make more sales. What's more, once you have a decent number of subscribers, you can sell advertising.

Publishing a Quality Email Newsletter

To be successful publishing an email newsletter, you must provide your readers with great content, such as informative articles. Don't worry, you won't need to write the articles yourself - unless you want to. There are a wealth of articles available online that you can publish at no cost - simply by including author's resource box at the bottom of the article. Publishing these articles not only provides your readers with quality information, but it also provides you with great content and free promotion for the author.

Making Money with Your Email Newsletter

A great way to make money with your email newsletter is to run three or four (depending on the size of your ezine) sponsor ads throughout your publication.

The ad space can be sold to others, used to run ads for your own products, or even affiliate products you may be promoting.

Place one ad at the top of your publication, one at the bottom, and one within the article you run - depending on the length of the article. Below each ad, clearly state that the ads are sponsor ads, so that your readers won't confuse them with the content.

For example, if you're selling dog grooming products, you could create a free, informative course about grooming a dog and promote your dog grooming products throughout the course.
